I’ve liked Marnie from the very first moment I heard her. Her subsequent music didn’t step the sphere ahead extremely much, however it didn’t have to. Her guitar work is crackling Sonic Youth-y greatness. Her mindset is punk, experimental crazy.
But this, her newest album, is a bit different. just a little. How? It’s got genuinely remarkable vocals as well as the very best percussion of all her albums.
The result is a collection that at times really sounds….Accessible? Not completely accessible. Not pop. however there’s a melody line, as well as there’s catchy riffs. It’s not just noisepop. It is noisepop, it’s not just noisepop.
I really believe I such as this one the best.
Great, fantastic record. say thanks to you Marnie!!!!!!
